Description	Summarizes about 22 reports prepared as the result of the cooperative study of the Bear River Basin in Utah, Idaho, and Wyoming in the mid-1970s. Describes the Bear River Basin and some of its problems in areas such as economics, recreation, irrigation water management, flooding, erosion and sediment, environmental, and water quality. Looks at its economic development, its resources, and existing programs. Projects future conditions and evaluates the area's needs and opportunities. Appendix contains executive summaries of some of the individual working papers upon which this summary is based. Contains numerous tables of data, photographs, and pull-out color maps showing precipitation, land ownership, recreational facilities, vegetation, fishery classification, archeological/historical features; lakes and reservoirs; water quality stations; sediment; erosion, and flood plains. One spiral bound volume in various pagings, about 200 in all.
