Description	Vanez T. Wilson scrapbook no. 2: Bear River Bird Refuge. Mr. Wilson began his career in Department of the Interior in 1927, helping to survey and establish what was to become the Bear River Bird Refuge just outside of Brigham City, Utah. He was appointed to be the Refuge Manager on April 1, 1937, a position which he held until his retirement on August 5, 1965. The bulk of Vanez T. Wilson's scrapbook consists of newspaper articles on the Bear River Bird Refuge (Utah) just outside Brigham City, Utah, and/or Vanez T. Wilson. There are also membership cards of the various organizations to which Mr. Wilson belonged. Towards the back are photographs of Mr. Wilson and others at work at the Refuge usually with specimens of waterfowl (ducks). The majority of the newspapers clippings date from 1928-1965, with one article from 1986.
