Description	Vanez T. Wilson scrapbook no. 1: Photographs, 1900-1975. Scrapbook I consists mainly of family photos of what appears to be the Budge family. Included are some Wilson family photos of vacations and gatherings as well as a photo of Vanez T. Wilson with actor Wallace Beery. Vanez Theurer Wilson was born September 13, 1895 in Logan, Utah. From 1918-1919 Wilson served in the Army and fought in World War I. He received a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Utah State Agricultural College in 1920, majoring in irrigation. On July 14, 1921, he married Margaret Ann Budge in the Logan LDS temple. Together they had five children, four of which survived to adulthood. Mr. Wilson began his career in Department of the Interior in 1927, helping to survey and establish what was to become the Bear River Bird Refuge just outside of Brigham City, Utah. He was appointed to be the Refuge Manager on April 1, 1937, a position which he held until his retirement on August 5, 1965.
