Description	Describes the history and extent of the irrigation project of the Bear Lake and River Water Works and Irrigation Company as of 1889. Cities and towns served by the irrigation system included Ogden, Brigham City, Corrinne, Bear River City, Honeyville, Willard, and Plain City; orchard, vineyard, and farm lands served by the canals exceeded 250,000 acres. Discusses related water rights, including legal opinions on same, and the economic, and physical characteristics of the Territory of Utah. Includes engineering report by Joseph U. Crawford; an investigative report by B. H. Eaton; and legal opinions by Charles C. Dey, O. W. Powers, and George W. McCrary on water rights and appropriations. Also includes the text of various documents of the irrigation company such as deed of trust, twenty year first mortgage gold bonds, $35 coupon; and trustee's certificate. 1 cloth bound v., 92 pp., with table of contents on page following p. 92 with verso containing advertisement for Jarvis-Conklin Mortgage Trust Co. giving its officers, etc. Map at end has been removed from volume and filed separately.
