Description	Meeting minutes of county officials for Cache County, Utah spanning from its inception in 1857 to 1877. Minutes begin with the organization of the county as of Ap-ril 4, 1857, delineation of its boundaries, and appointment of its administrative structure and first officers. These minutes document all official county business including setting tax assessment rates, establishing of precincts, issuing grants to use or control water, timber, minerals, etc. for specified areas, building transportation infrastructure such as roads and bridges, building county facilities, collecting taxes from individuals and businesses, and a plethora of other matters, both large and small, related to administering a newly settled rural county in Utah. This typed transcription was created in summer of 1952 from original handwritten minutes borrowed from the Cache County Recorder's Office.
