Description	Handwritten lecture notes from medical lectures given by Dr. Parkinson from 1896 to 1901. The thirty lectures recorded in the notebook are about obstetrics. Ella Cardon wrote the following description on the flyleaf: "This is now mar. 4, 1950 and [I] hope this will be kept in honor of Dear Dr. Wm B. [Parkinson] and his wife Clarisa Parkinson. This note book contains the course of Instructions which were given by Dr. Wm B. Parkinson in his training Course for Cache Valley Nurses, in 1896 in Logan Cache Co. He charged $25. (twenty-five dollars) for Instructions. I was one of the fortunate few who was privileged to take this training. My true friends and beloved neighbors. [signed] Ella Hinckley Cardon. Took Red Cross Nursing in first World War, 1918. Service Star Officer." This notebook is one of 10 books and ledgers in the Merrill-Cazier Library's Cache Valley Medical Literature Collection, 1892-1937 located in Special Collections and Archives.
