Title	The Baker Ranch: A History : Glen Canyon National Recreation Area, Arizona-Utah
Description	This study was undertaken to gather background historical data on the Baker Ranch, located in the Glen Canyon National Recreation Area. The ranch was operated by between 1907 and the mid-1940s the family of Thomas Smith and later Eugene baker. It was predicted that the waters of Lake Powell would flood the ranch site by 1976. The report concluded that the buildings of the Baker Ranch were of historical interest and should be preserved and moved to a more accessible location, not scheduled to be flooded.
