Re: Utah-Idaho Central Railroad corporation
application to discontinue its station
at Mendon, Utah as an agency station.
Gentlemen:
The undersigned, Mendon City Corporation, a municipal
corporation of the State of Utah, enters its appearance herein
and protests the order of the Commission authorizing the
Utah-Idaho Central Railroad Corporation and its Receiver,
S.J. Quinne.y, to discontinue the station of said corporation
at Mendon, Utah, as an agency station, unless the following
conditions are first met:
Have the switch back of the Station (on the west side)
removed.
Discontinue all service for coal dealers, which service
can be maintained south of Mendon at the Town of Rondo.
Agree to maintain the station building either by renting
to a responsible party or parties, or by selling, and
That is be further agreed by the Utah Idaho Central
Railroad Corporation that said railroad corporation will make
no objection to service that might be rendered by other common
carriers operating through Mendon City.
