RESOLUTION — Be it resolved that the attached ordinance entitled
revised ordinances of Mendon Cbity consisting of sections one to 274.
"both inclusive,he and the same are here "by adopted as the revised and
official ordences of s4idCity.Be IT PUSHER RESOLVED that the city Recorder
of said city "be and he is hereby ordered to post full, true and correct
copies in three public and conspicuous placee in said city for a period
of twenty (20) days
Be IT PUTHER RESOLVED,that this ordinance take effect immediately upon
its passage and approvel.  Passed bt city Council of Mendon City This
30th day of August A D 1923.

and same was signed in the Presents of Meeting as follows

RESOLUTION.
Whereas  George H Gardner,a former resident  of  this Ci£y,was  oonvected
in the  Third District Court  of  the State of Utah, in and for    Salt Lake County
of murder  in the first degree,and Whereas he   is now under sentence to be
executed on    Aug 31st,1923.and Whereas   ,his  relatives desire that his body
be  brought  to Mendon City for byrial   ,And Wheareas  the ordinance provides
that the City Council must  designate,by resolution   ,the place wfcere all
persons  convected of murder shall be buried in City Cemetery.
mNow therefore, toe  it  resolved by  the C ity Council  of Mendon C ity, thay the
body of  said Georde H Gardner be buried  in  the City Cemetery,and that  the
same he buried  in Lot § 28  in the City Cemetery of Mendon City,Cache County
,Utah.Passed b$ City Cpuncial  of Mendon City,   this  30th.day of August 1923
H.G.Hughes Moved  that  same be  excepted and W.R.Hujtjhed Sectioned  it.   and
aame was  signed before  the meeting as follows  in  the presence  of  the
city Recorder H.J.Richards.     L.M.Anderson,   H  G Hughes,Jos I,Sorensen,
John Gibbinaȴ/mR Hughes and Geo Hiibner.
H.G.Hughes moved that  the City Councial  pass  on the  selling of Portane
of  city lots  inthe  city  cemetery whish have "been  cit  up b$ new  road now
on  south side  of  same be  sold    as per  size  of lot based on the price  of
a full  lot.   Geo.Hiibner Moved  that   same be passed and John Gibbens   seconed
