I was very much surprised and disappointed to find that you had not received mine of the 1st (yet?); but as yours was six days in reaching me, mine probably reached you a day or two after you wrote. In my last I told you all about what I am doing, so it is hardly worth while to tell you here, but as my letter may have miscarried I guess it won’t do any harm to repeat a little of what I said-My Report is now ready for the printer, having been subjected to the final revision and arrangement. Will go into press in a very short time now. I have just corrected proofs, and revise of a paper published by me in the Proceedings of the Rhilad Acad., entitled “A New Classification of the North American Falconidae,” It will be issued in a few days, and I will send you a copy.
