UTAH, 1935.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Utah!
Section 1.  Sections 1,3,3,4, and 6 Chapter 72, Laws of Utah
1935, are amended to read:
1. The state Self-help Cooperative Board shall be composed of
the following members:  She director of the state planning board, one
representative of the faculty of the university of Utah and of the
Utah state agricultural college to be severally selected by their
respective presidents ( } and an industrial engineer to be a&eoted
by the state engineer. To such ooard shall be added three representatives of the self-help cooperatives to be hereafter selected by

cooperative uoard.
The members of this board shall file their oaths of office with
uqe secretary of state and taite office immediately upon appointment,

technical, clerical and any and all other assistants shall not exceed
twenty percent of funds allocated to the board or su >s repaid to the
board from self-help cooperatives.
3. The board shall elect from its nemoers a chairman, a vice-
chairmaln, and a secretary ( ) treasurer who shall hold office for a
period of two years, and shall post such surety bonds as the coard
shall require. Repayments of loans front self-help cooperatives to
the state self-help department shall be made to the treasurer thereof
and to him only, who slxall issue an official receipt for sums received.
The board is invested with the power to employ and remove a
director who shall be a person especially qualified by training and
