It - Strength and Influence of the Organization
Since the farm bureau movement began in this state in 1915, it
had a positive Influence on Utah's agriculture, has been conservative
and has maintained the respect of the people of Utah. -Tfee-^^arctrth-t
0 practically all of the cooperative associations in Utah have t ken
out a group membership in this organization, bringing its membership
to 20,000 and thus representing practically all of the active farmers
of the state demonstrates the faith that the farmers of Utah have in
the Farm Bureau organization,.
This amalgamation and the uniting of Utah farmers into one orgsnidation
has made it one of th' tt if not the st:. ! ation-.-
in the State jf Utah.oU,taM s .a/riculture is now organized with ample
strength to put into operation a prograa for agriculture with fa* -
reacting results. This will depend upon the vision in organi-zation
and feedership.
- Organization ;uid Set-lip
The organization wHX function through the various departments which
have been sot up to handle different of the work, the aim
being to make these departments ocrsanent in character so that the
program of eaphj and the leadership, will continue even though there
may be changes in administration.
IV - Personnel and Le-.oership
Leadership to handle the work for each of these departments hai been
carefully selected. Leader.; .ho are especially euulified and fitted
are aaH at work organising these if^ertaenta and foraul programs
to carry on the work^
