ORGANIZATION AND PROGRAM
UTAH STATE FARM BUREAU
I - Affiliation of membership of cooperative marketing associations and the
Utah State Farm Bureau Federation into one organization.
1. Action taken by Committee
At a meeting held March 30, 1932, of the sub-committee appointed
to work out relationships between the Farm Bureau and cooperative
marketing associations, the following action was taken regarding affiliation of membership:
"Motion Mr. Smith, that there be a definite affiliation between
the cooperatives and the central organization, the farm bureau.
Seconded by Mr. Beus and carried.
"Motion Mr. Beus that an agreement be worked out between the
Farm Bureau and the other agricultural organizations whereby
individual membership in the cooperatives or other farm organizations will constitute an individual membership in the farm
bureau. Seconded by Mr. Smith and passed.
"Motion Mr. Smith, seconded by Mr. Beus, that the amount paid
to the farm bureau for membership be on the basis of so much
per person or member. Carried. "
2. Proposed Agreement on Membership.
An agreement covering membership between the cooperatives and
farm bureau should be executed by the bureau with each cooperative. The contract would have to be legally drawn, however,
the contents might be as follows:

Cooperative Marketing Association.
The Utah State Farm Bureau Federation agrees to give to each member
of the Association, an individual family
membership in the Utah State Farm Bureau organisation, said membership to carry all of the membership privileges as provided by the
local, county and state and national federations.
For membership thus provided by the Utah State Farm Bureau Federation to members of association, and for other
services rendered,the ______„ association hereby agrees to
pay to the Utah State Farm Bureau £, for each and all
of its members for the year beginning January 1, 1932, and ending
December 51, 1932.
