Employee Changes Noted
Several changes and additions have
been made in UCA's staff of employees
during the past few weeks.
Marilyn Crowley', our congenial ex-
receptionist, has now officially become
"Miss PAX", having been appointed secretary to Jack Glenn, newly assigned National Sales Promotion. Her duties now
consist of handling and typing all correspondence and promotional material for
the national PAX program.
Grace Hathaway, formerly in the book
keeping department, has moved into the
employ of Bailey Advertising Service.
Grace will act as space buyer, office man
ager and secretary of the advertising fir-
New receptionist, Beverly Kay Jones,
came to UCA from California, where she
was employed at a bank. Originally from
Tooele, Bev now handles mail and phones.

New Sprinkler System
Installed At UCA
The installation of a $24,000 sprinkling system at UCA has recently been
completed by the Intermountain Sprinkling System of Salt Lake.
Facts of interest regarding this new system follow: Water pipes have been installed throughout the entire building,
office and warehouse alike, with sprinkler heads located in every room. Each
of these sprinkler heads are individually
controlled so that in case a fire broke
out the sprinkler heads near the flame
would provide a spray of water of approximately 35 gallons per minute. These
sprinkler heads are located so every
square foot of space is covered by spray.
In addition to the automatic feature of
each sprinkler, there is an alarm bell
at the front of the building which will automatically turn on anytime water is released at any sprinkler head.
Every employee should become familiar with instructions to be followed in
case of fire. These instructions are
posted in conspicuous places about the
building. Learn where they are!
Lois Eads, new employee in the bookkeeping department, came to UCA from,
of all places, Okinawa. Lois was previously employed with the Corps of Engineers on that Pacific Island. Originally from Illinois, Lois says she enjoys
working at UCA because of "all the nice
people."
