PROJECTS VISITED
iionday—Office routine and check upon salt Lake County projects.
Tuesday—'Visited Lehi and Payson projects; assisted them in preparing the
necessary information.
The iayson project, consisting of 40 acres a pears to be a valuable undertaking. A'he land is choice and prospects are g >od for an abundant harvest.
The men were anxious to work and a fine cooperative spirit was manifested.
The Lehi project consists of 9 plus acres. The land is level and appeai-s
to be adapted for vegetable garden. I requested -r. James B. Grey, the landlord, to reduce the rent from S200.00 to il.50.G0. She v50.00 was transferred to
the cooperative to be used for transportation, containers, and incidentals.
A letter was received requesting an inspection of an acreage at ¥•
Pleasant, Klberta and Lindon. The latter two did not prove to be feasible;
therefore, no application \?ill be submitted at this time. The Mfc. Pleasant
project was a good one, and the application is ready for consideration. The
inspection trip was made to these projects ved., returning Thurs. night.
