Glen Ellen, Calif.,
I have enjoyed the little tilt you have been having with
our dear friend ^amuels. So you want to get him eh? V.:ell, perhaps you had better have a little searching on your own account, but
a city official told me yesterday that he had looked it up personally, and found it of rec&rd that Judge Samuels ov;ns the property
that liuldowney runs as a saloon etc. Of course that c6uld not possibly influence his decision, but convicting Muldowrey of assault,
or in ary way put the "rough house" on to him meant the loss of
his license, and to the owner the loss of a tenant. Get him»?why
there is plenty more in the conduct of that office that you can
$&&&ham-en---- pet him on o if you mean it, go to it. Of course
to be sure f your ground look up the property question yourself.
I call it disgraceful myself and think you have the better of the
affair all through.
Yours for fun and fair play,
