Hy dear London,
I have your letter of Harch 25th, in which you
tell me that you have disposed of all rights in the Bog story.
This is rathar confusing and I do not quite know now where I
staid in my relations with you. You have already received my
potter, or will have before this gets to you, saying that I will
take that story, ae well as the other two books, on prcotically
the terms suggested by Easnillan in former letters, as well as
ccrziitting us to take all your future work on similar terms. I
will not again go over all that I said in our conversations, as
to the unwisdoa of letting your books be scattered. I think
you mot know not only that we have done the very best possible
by you in the past, bet that vo intend to (and can) do tho very
boot possible for you, and better then anyone else will, in the
futuro. I aa awfully sorry that you allowed Hacmlll&ns to coma
