and the livestock industry in tha early days, fher® is an outline for sheep
and on® for cattle* This is an Important phase of tha history of national
forests in tiiis region and it bacons increasingly important that we obtain
as .full a record as possible now hacauss with tha passage ef tltaa, mora iM
more ef th® real old tisara, who have knowledge that should be recorded, are
passing on.
It is believed that such of this.can be obtained at livestock association meetings this winter and next spring or through special trips and
special contacts. Th® gathering of such data is sufficiently important to
warrant making a project to gat it. It will be naeessary no doubt to spand
a few hours with each on© of these individuals, asking questions and getting
direct answers* fh® outline is designed for this use* ft© do not care where
or how you get it but it is important that you gather this information promptly
and we would like to have you make a special, effort to obtain it this winter
or next spring*
