MEMORANDUM BOB THE DISTRICT FORBSTBB:
I spent about three weeks during June making
an inspection of the Cache.  I looked primarily into
apsalal and grazing matters, considering the personnel of the Forest at some length.  Sapervisor Shepard
accompanied me throughout the trip with the exception
of two days.  Deputy Supervisor Spencer was with me
during the two days.  Excepting Banger Haines,.whomi
did not see at all, and Ranger Innes with whom I talk-
ed a couple of hours, I was«svery District man on the
Forest and rode from one to three days with each officer.
I am glad to say that the Forest officers were
very prompt in furnishing transportation of a highly
satisfactory character, and in showing me over the Forest.  Io time was lost waiting for transportation.  I
have never been on a Forest where I lost less time in
getting around, than on the Cache.  In this respect dur-
