Description	This interview is included in the American Folklore Society Oral History Project held at the Archive of Folk Culture, American Folklife Center, Library of Congress, Washington, D.C. This item is a collection of video and audio recordings and program of concert featuring Margaret MacArthur, ballad singer and song collector from Marlboro, Vermont. The collection includes an interview with MacArthur recorded in Marlboro in 2002 by Jane C. Beck, with complete transcript (78 p.) of the interview; also included is an article written by Jane C. Beck about Margaret MacArthur, "Vermont's songcatcher: a lifetime of singing and saving near-forgotten tunes" in Visit'n, v. 8 (2002): 32-44.. This collection consists of 1 videocassette of 1 (DVM 60) (60 min.) : digital, sound, color; 1 sound cassette of 1 (DAT) (60 min.) : digital; 2 sound cassettes of 2 : analog; 1 transcript (78 p.); and 1 folder. Additional notes: "Cosponsored with the Kennedy Center Millennium Stage." Concert recorded in the Coolidge Auditorium, Thomas Jefferson Building, Library of Congress from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. on June 21, 2005. Interview with Margaret MacArthur conducted by Vermont Folklife Center director Jane C. Beck in Marlboro, Vermont, recorded on July 8, 2002.
