The Rocks at Pinnacle Peak
Scottsdale, Arizona
The Rocks at Pinnacle Peak is a 22-acre resi-dential
development that is located in north
Scottsdale, adjacent to the Four Seasons
Resort. It includes 40 villas that are designed
with both commercial and residential spaces.
The site also includes an entry gatehouse
and community building with a temporary
sales office, banquet facilities, patio space,
spa and swimming pool.
To encourage active use of the private villa
courtyards, these outdoor rooms are situated
to maximize spectacular views of the sur-rounding
desert and the city of Scottsdale
below. A common trail system, which
meanders through the hillside, links the
villas to the community center and sur-rounding
desert open spaces.
Design Workshop provided site planning,
site design, entitlements approval documen-tation
and coordination of the site work.
Design Workshop also prepared construc-tion
documents for all planting, paving,
entry features, streetscapes, lighting design,
irrigation, grading, site furnishings,
common-area open spaces, courtyards and
private patios.
